The St Nicholas Church in Laindon is about 15 minutes from my house. We recently discovered that many of Dave's relatives are in fact from this area. Dave's Nan Doris was married here and his great grandparents are buried in the graveyard of the church. So today we decided to go for a little historical walk and try to locate the graves . Sadly, we were unable to find them as many of them are unmarked and the church high on its hill has been battered by the weather for many years leaving many headstones fallen / faded or damaged. We were lucky to meet the church warden who took us inside and allowed us to take photographs which we hope will bring some happy memories to someone very special when she finally gets to see them.
Its a small world .

That's not too far from where I have family living. My uncle lives in Langdon Hills.
